Nick Nickerson
Independent Author
After graduation from college and military service, Nick enjoyed a forty-year career in the computer industry. He was a software developer, instructor, and entrepreneur as he co-founded and served as president of a software company. Leaving the computer business, he has had stints as a mortgage broker, real estate agent, and real estate investor, flipping more than fifteen homes. At the age of seventy-four, he completed a run of three thousand miles to raise awareness for the need to fund research to find the cause of autism (3000MilesForAutism.org). In semiretirement, Nick finally scratched an itch to write a novel.
His first novel was initially planned as a short story. Friends who read it wanted to know what happened to the characters in the intervening gap of seven years in the original story. Clothing Optional answers those questions.
Nick lives in Chapel Hill, NC, with his wife Annetta; adult son Adam, who is autistic; and two Havanese dogs, Comet and Luna.
